Bio-2000 is a biological waste treatment product that utilizes the powerful waste digesting activity of natural bacteria and enzymes to rapidly breakdown solids and reduce odors associated with the storage of swine manure. The swine formulation contains specifically selected species of enzyme producing, facultative anaerobic bacteria that can grow and breakdown solids in oxygen-limiting environments such as deep lagoons as well as other storage units where oxygen may be available. As the facultative bacteria proliferate, the noxious odors associated with anaerobic decompostion are reduced.

The lagoon treatment is a highly concentrated, water soluble formulation for the yearly treatment of aerated aerobic and anaerobic primary lagoons. This product is designed to be used in combination with the Swine Formulation maintenance treatment as an effective program to control solids and odors in swine manure facilities.

Application Rates:

The application rate of Bio-2000 Swine Formulation lagoon treatment is dependent on the volume of liquid waste in the storage facility. In order to estimate the volume of your holding facility, follow the steps outlined below:

1. Determine the volume in cubic meters: Multiple the length (in meters) by width (in meters) by depth (in meters).
2. Convert cubic meters to liters: Multiply the number of cubic meters by 1000 to determine the volume of the storage facility in liters.
3. Determine pounds of product for treatment: Our in-house chemists can devise the appropriate application for your specific needs.

Bio-2000 should be activated with warm water proir to use. Dissolve one kilogram in 50 liters of water in a clean tank. Disperse the product over the entire surface of the lagoon. For best results, apply the solution using a spray applicator. To ensure maximum activity, use the solution as soon as possible after hydration. Discard unused solution and prepare fresh solution after 8 hours.
