Universal Export Limited (UXL, Inc.), established in 1993, is a full service international trade and marketing company based in Silicon Valley, California. We specialize in exports of environmentally safe industrial and household chemicals, bioremediation for hazardous and non-hazardous wastewater clean-up, low income housing projects and Joint Venture consultation. In 2010, we transitioned into the legal Cannabis industry and have a full team that specialize in the Global Cannabis Community. We are an environmentally conscious company with over ten percent of all revenues going to charitable organizations.

Our services include facilitation of Cannabis consulting, export financing, international marketing, and export consulting. Our Global Canna Advisors division is based in New York City and Silicon Valley, California. With decades of experience in the Cannabis Industry, we advise clients in every aspect of Cannabis cultivation, from seed to sale. Global Canna Advisors assists companies and governments in setting regulations and production of Medical and Recreational Cannabis.

UXL seeks to assist markets in transition by offering new and refurbished North American products designed to promote sustainable agriculture, development and a cleaner environment. With a sales force speaking more than ten languages, UXL utilizes economic sector analyses, native cultural and business practices, and aggressive marketing strategies to penetrate emerging markets in the developing world.

UXL's face to face approach towards international trade creates the need for a well educated and experienced staff. Our foreign operations managers are hand-picked for their many years of experience in dealing with our clients, and most importantly, for their special contacts with the government officials responsible for overseeing the importation of our products and services.

The company was founded by Leigh Lindenbaum and Robert Rich. Mr. Rich was formerly the coordinator of U.S. State Department programs establishing business schools and advising the finance and agriculture ministers of Central and Eastern Europe. He speaks Russian fluently. Mr. Lindenbaum manages UXL headquarters in Silicon Valley, California, where he has forged lasting relationships among the major environmental, bio-technology manufacturers and Cannabis cultivators around the world. He was awarded a national grant for Cannabis research at Stanford University, and gained valuable business experience while living in the Middle East. He was the youngest member in the San Francisco chapter of YEO (Young Entrepreneurs Organization). Mr. Lindenbaum was Nationally selected by Opportunity Magazine as one of the "Rapid Successes: Top Ten Young Entrepreneurs of 1998".

"But you would probably be most intrigued by Universal Export Limited. It was started by a young man (Leigh Lindenbaum), one year out of college, with $15,000. Six years later, they have offices around the world, helping export environmentally friendly products. One interesting aspect is the company gives 10 percent of its profits to charity -- what we would say here in the Jesuit way, being a man or women for others." Remarks by Secretary of Commerce William M. Daley to the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University

UXL is a U.S. Department of Commerce 1998 and 1999 nominee for The President's "E" Certificate for Export Service.
